Pieke Bergmans for Al Sabah Art & Design Collection

Design Miami 08: Dutch designer Pieke Bergmans has presented the latest incarnation of her Design Virus project, for the Al Sabah Art & Design Collection.

This time Bergmans has applied her technique of blowing molten glass vases directly onto a range of traditional Middle Eastern furniture items.

The collection is on show in the Miami Design District during Design Miami this week.

The Al Sabah Art & Design Collection is a new project by Sheikh Majed Al-Sabah, founder of the Villa Moda chain of fashion stores.
